In our next episode of The Millfield Way podcast we meet Director of Golf, Karen Nicholls.
Karen has grew up locally in the Somerset area and has worked for Millfield for 31 years. In this podcast we learn of her journey to becoming one of the few female golf directors in the country.
Millfield Golf is thriving with both girl and boy golfers benefitting from the expertise of Karen and her team. Training on both our nine-hole pitch n putt course, two putting greens, a specialist short game area, a 350 yard long driving range and a new indoor centre, The John Graveney Golf Centre, named after Old Millfieldian John Graveney who had a long history with Millfield, includes an 81 sq. metre Huxley putting green, two teaching bays with opportunity to hit outdoors with shutter doors open and an additional 6 practice bays.
